temperature control lights. need help!!!
I need some wondering what is going on. The temperature control lights that do not go on. The digital part works but when I turn my lights on The background lights so you can see the buttons do not work. The guys at nissan said there is nothong you can do because the bulbs or something are enclosed in some casing.
Also the digital part of the radio .(the screen that shows like 98.5 or TAPE ) fades in and out. What the heck is going on? NEED HELP?

I am not familiar w/ the manual a/c units but if you have the AUTO temp control A/C units you can get replacement bulbs from COURTESY NISSAN. There is a total of 4 bulbs in the A/C unit. You have to remove the whole center console to get at the back of the unit (very easy). The bulbs are just under $3 and do all 4 since you don't want one to burn out later. I have replaced the bulbs in my own car as well as several other org members rides. Check with Courtesy - all the bulbs I've replaced have been on 95 or 96, so if yours is a different year I might be wrong.
As far as the display on the radio - I don't know. The bose units supposedly have bad solder joints??? As long as you have access to the back of your radio when you replace the a/c bulbs try disconnecting and reconnecting everything on your radio maybe the terminals are dirty. This worked on a friends car. Good luck
