Door lock malfunctions...
Well I've been having a lot of problems lately with my two right side doors. It all started when some bozo girl backed into my rear passenger side door. She put a 6" by 10" dent in the thing that was at least 2" deep the whole way round. The only solution was to well, replace the door.
When this happened, the bozo's who put it together (wtg nissan!) put the console for the rear window on improperly, and it would no longer lock/unlock properly.. It would do it right, if you did it by hand. Any use of the remote or front door locks would result in it going 3/4 of the way to the lock point. Even though it looks locked, if you don't push the door lock all the way in, the door can still be opened. I've had the alarm go off several times now by friends who've jumped the gun before I've been able to unlock everything with the remote.
What's up with these door locks? Last time I checked, anything over 50% towards the "locked" area on a lock ment locked. It's behaving like 99.9% of the interior latch means "open". Anyone know how to fix this (or even have a clue what I'm talking about?)
