Looks pretty good lit up. For your debadging, if its really Superglue, use acetone ( nail polish remover) or check with a paint shop or even Napa for pro paint solvent. Try to determine what the glue is first.

I think it gives it a smoked look and definitely better than stock. 95-96 backwards lights are tough to look at so this takes off the edge...i prefer the 97-99 look not bad and pontiacs not in the wildest dream can look like a max.

I actually think it looks pretty good, especially for being so cheap. Looks awesome at night.

As for the goo, have you tried taking a razor blade and carefully trying to just scrape between trying your best not to pull the paint off? I wouldn't doubt the clear coat under where the crazy glue was is damaged for sure regardless.

I did the same with my lights a few years ago, except I took a little more time to do it. I spent $10 and used the 1/4 inch pinstripes at autozone.
I looks much better in person, especially at night. I like it more than the nightshade stuff.

Take some night pix so we can see how well the light goes through the tape.

I took that off about a year ago. I started to hate the look of black tail lights.
I'll try to find some old pictures though.

You don't have to go through the trouble of finding the pix. Did light shine through or no?

The lights are still very visible. I never had any problems, and I live in Los Angeles, they pull you over for just about anything here.

Thats exactly what I was thinking

And as for taping lights FTL, I don't particularly like the striping, but my tape job turned out not bad, happy with it until I can afford some LED tails.

Thats the best pic you're getting right now my computer is ill..... sorry.

no I just wired the signals into the outer tails. It was similar to the OP, was bored one day. Like I said it turned out ok so I left it for the time being. I won't change it unless I get LED tails/red clears.
and before you ask, yes you can see the reverse lights because its a white light.
