hmm I think 225 or 235/35/19 would be a better tire size

those should look decent on your car. any idea what the offset is? i foresee spacers in your future. i don't get too much into tires since i'm not a huge performance guy. i just bought some 215/35, 235/35 from tirerack since they were cheap (won't hear me say that too often). i noticed they have a closeout on avon tech m500 but the ratings aren't great. i geuss it depends on what you want out of them.

Not bad. I'm not a huge fan of all those rivets though. Why are you only going 215mm wide? I'd go 235.

P.S. Yeah, ditch those graphics.

anything wider than a 215 is going to look like a fat bubble tire.

fat bubble + low pro = ftl

i doubt it will look bad, the wheel is 7.5" wide, people are fitting 225 on the stock rim and its an inch narrower, so i think the perfect size for looks would be a 225, u can get 235s for performance if needed, im running 245/45/17 on a 8" wide and the look fine, of course his profile is smaller than mine.

unless he is trying to do the Vdub

bubble tires =

i'm running 215 on an 8.5, 235 on a 9.5, but i'm running that for a reason.

being that i'm not a perfomance guy i tend to like what looks best and to me on a 7.5" that would be a 215 (225 if the manufacturer runs small).

Sounds like you're pretty stoked on your purchase.

Decent design, but not feeling the rivets too much. Glad you like them though.

225/35 is safe for a 7.5" rim, 235 is pushing it but would still probably work. Wheels look good.

I think it's kinda weird to go spend a bunch of money on nice wheels and not have any clue what kind of tires you want to put on them. :-/

LOL! That's what I always say. And that's why it drives me nuts when people stick on Nismo radiator and oil caps.

7.5 width?
at the ride height you are, I'd suggest 215 or 225 at most.. depending on the offset, you will be rubbing with anything wider...

???

why would that drive you nuts? oil and radiator caps are not accessories like stickers, they are parts. just like exhaust hangers, fuel pressure regulators, injectors, extended studs, etc. they all fit maximas and are functional. there are universal nismo parts.

nismo graphics don't bother me, graphics in general do. more importantly knock-off anything does and even more so than that ppl who act like anybody with an opinion is hating do.

The rivets ruin it for me. If it weren't for those, those rims would look great. That'd be my 2 cents. Take it with a few grains of salt.

i have 18x7.5 rims and i run 225/35/18's. i think the width is perfect. Not stretched, not bubbly. Perfect.

U asked for peoples opinions so u cant really get mad at them for giving it to U.

seriously? I never thought it would be a problem with the sizes being suggested. Have u had rubbing issue before with a similar size rim width and tire size, just curious.

Because they don't make anything for us. Why support them by buying the few parts that were made for other cars that just happen to fit our car?

Huh? Why do you have to know the exact tires you'll be purchasing before you buy rims? I think I bought my rims and then started shopping for tires. What's the big deal?

reality check: if you dont care what people think then theres really no reason for you post pics of your car/wheels.

and before you get too upset; i don't think they look bad. i 1) do not condone knock-off anything and 2) don't like when ppl get an attitude just because someone disagrees with them.

why support nissan? i think its a little late for that.

its no secret that we have chosen a bastard platform to modify, but if something of oem quality does happen to work you can believe i'm gonna use that vs. a similar aftermarket piece.
