Tranny Issue.....

Whats up guys....got a Q for yous.I just had a new clutch and insert on my fidenza flywheel put in a few months ago because my tranny was acting up.So know iam noticing that my clutch is slipping if i get on the car.

Whats happening is when i get on the car the rpms go up for a second or so and then it catches. What can be the cause of it?Clutch not aggressive enough for the car....anything would help before i have to bring it back to the place i got it done and argue with these people.

Thanks guys

IMHO, your pressure plate is not making good contact with the face of the flywheel for one reason or another. It is possible that it's just an adjustment issue, but not likely. Is the fork loose on the slave at all .... or constant pressure? Mine is slightly loose, I can move the pin on the SC a little, so I know it's allowing the fork to return all the way. Also possible that whoever installed the clutch didn't get the flywheel cleaned well enough prior to setting the clutch. Is your pedal sticky at all .... it's coming to return ok as well ???
