Ever since i took off my old tint from my rear window the keyless entry just stopped working. Could it be something that has to do with the defroster lines?

I believe the antenna for keyless is in the rear window glass, maybe you cut or broke the antenna lead. Try your remote very close to the remote control unit in the trunk. You should still get confirmation flash when you reprogram the remote.

 

I had about 100 feet of range when my antenna was not even hooked up. Glad you cleared that up about the OP. I remembered reading that and was afraid I was losing it.

 

where do i get a fob for keyless entry- purchased the car no fob.

 

You should be able to find a fob on eBay, but it will need to be programed to your car.
