Window Modulator broken, How to replace..

I need to replace the back 2 window modulators. Any advice on how to do this? Also how difficult. Scale: Brake pads = 1, Engine = 10.

Thanks

the hardest part IMO is swapping the motor off the old regulator.
tip: use tape to hold the window up and out of the way.

When I took the door panelling off there was nothing but the metal frame in the way. I didn't see anyway to anything out, much less put anything in. Is the metal I am seeing actually able to come off?
