Calipers really starting to go... Whats the best price? You have found?

I need to make this as inexpensive as possible, I am broke and living on my own, so I need to figure this into my budget, because I need an axle and a clutch soon. I managed to get upt to 23MPG!... YAY... better then 15MPG when my knock sensor was out... but I wanna see if fixing this will get me up at least to 25mpg or so...

Anyway, I got the clutch pretty much all set for August maybe. And the axle by july.

So what is going on is they are sticking. Basiclly when you put the e-brake up, you can feel resistence and when you put the ebrake down, you can't feel resistence until you put it up at least a few inches. Sometimes I push hard on the brake and it goes back to normal but this is happening all the time, and somtimes I hate even putting on my Ebrake cause I think the pads will stick and cause drag. Screw that, Sometimes I have no choice though, because I hate putting the cars wieght on the tranni because it is bad for it in the long run. Anywhoo

What are some decent ones that will run me a good price?

Go ahead and spend more money for the same parts somewhere else, I don't care.

if I understand you right, the problem happens after you use the park brake. maybe check the park brake cables for sticking.

Did you even bother to look for any warranty information before ASSuming it doesn't come with one?

I'm deleting my link to the AWSOME parts website I listed for you. You don't deserve it, go ahead and spend more money elsewhere.

whoa whoa, chill out dude, I been there and ordered from there before (little things nothing this big), its a great site, and their prices are nice, I know they have a warranty but store>internet warranty... Based on the fact that you have to wait for your product were I could just take the caliper off, and have a friend run me down to get a new one. I can't just wait a week for the site to send me another while I have my car sit in a lot for a week. I got work ya kno...

Also this site wants a core. So that means, I got to spend $70 and get money back later on.

yeah I have one rear from advance and one rear from autozone.. been on about 11 months now and no problems. Remember though that you need/should to change out your pads when you do the calipers. And read up on bleeding if you haven't done them before. IIRC the one's at advance were cheaper; not sure what you have there in the Boston area.

dang man... thanks for lookin that stuff up man. some of those places are pretty far from me, but if all else fails then ill prob do it. I am just wondering if I should buy a junkyard cailper... I don't think I would buy smething as important as bakes cuz it may be screaming an issue or safty issue down the road. or for example say someone took the calipers off my max. which is mint btw. how would someone like the junkyard kno if there good ya kno?

but good looking out none the less man. I will check out that site tho and see if I can get the newst possible :-)
