Na I measured the total area of my fog lens and bought a small sheet from the company. I didn't order a precut film that was vehicle specific, instead I ordered a rectangle sheet (cheaper) and cut it myself with an exact-o knife. My total expense was about $20 shipped. Heres the sheet I ordered...

i got a similar film on ebay. its pretty straight forward but kind of a pain because the film i used didnt conform to the curves in the fogs too well, but it came out good.

Hair dryer will soften up the film and make it very pliable. Once warmed up, it will curve and adhere to almost anything you want.

I have also found from doing window tinting that a heat gun will work well if you have one handy/available.

They tint goes on the outside. It's essentially an overlay that just goes on top of the lense. You just want to make sure what your getting is a vinyl overlay so that you can heat it up to curve it around the edges.

They go on the outside. They are applied the same way window tint is.

I have seen pictures of the 3000k hids, and I would say comparing them to my overlays, that the HIDS are brighter

Or if ya wanna go the cheaper route, you can pair up the yellow Lamin-x film with some yellow Lexus capsules for the fog light bulbs. Search....you'll find some info.

I've still got another sheet of the 7" by 8" I used on my fogs but I don't know what else I can use it for. I cut a small circle out of the sheet and applied it to my new watch face but I still got quite a bit left over. any ideas?

One of my fogs burned out. I was thinking of getting HIDs what do you guys think? Should I buy HIDs and just take the tint off? or should I just stick regular bulbs in there and keep the tint? OR! should I get yellow bulbs?
