radio

how do i take out the radio?

this is how i did my 95SE 5spd. 97-99 might be diff. not sure

remove ur ac vent, they pop off. remove ur shifter trim, it also pops off. to remove your ashtray u need to unscrew a bolt on its left side and pop it off, it has two tabs still holding it on the right. now all u have to do is take off 4 bolts. two on top and two in the bottom. this will take out the radio and climate control. now just disconnect the radio and unscrew it from the mounting tabs or whatever theyre called. if u dont understand me use the SEARCH button, there should be a better write up somewhere. and anybody feel free to add if i missed anything.

ash tray must be open to come out easily.

careful on the fragile ac vents. they crack easily, bad experience imo

advice: pop it out around the bottom and the lower sides and tilt it up and out.
