So for the past two winters I've been getting the cel code from H@ll. You know the one, 0705 the jackpot evap control system code. Here's the thing, once april rolls around the code disappears. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience getting fault codes in a particular season. I wonder if it's a subtle sign that some piece of the evap system is on its way out. Many others have said that you usually get an accompanying fault code with that jackpot code that's more specific, though I never got one the past two years. Since the code has been gone for about 3 months now I'm not worried about it but I do want to know if this kind of thing has happened to anyone else, and if any of the mechanics have heard of this before.

mm that's possible i suppose, i live in upstate ny. i guess it could cause a valve to stick. still seems weird to me though. anyone else have a similar story?
