ASAP: where to locate camshaft position sensor

Hi guys!
Recently ive been getting code 1-1 it seems like my camshaft position sensor is going it takes a bunch of cranking for my starter. I wonder where its located and how much it costs to buy it from dealership.(i may be mistaken but is it little black **** with wire on the timing chain cover passanger side)
Thanks in advance.

damn CPS is an easy fix but when it goes out ... wow. My car would be ok until it warmed up and it just sounds and feels HORRIBLE... it feels similar to a MAF sensor going out but worse i think. good luck with it.

Seriously, when mine went out, my car would stall when warm, at random times. Scary when it stalled while I was moving! Then it wouldn't start up again till I gave it a rest, and even that was a guess at how long a rest was needed. Sometimes 1min, sometimes 1hr. No CEL either.

Yeah, its odd. When the engine cools down COMPLETELY it will start back up. apx 30 min into your driving the car is FULLY warmed up and it stalls out HARD.

Your not going to even get a CEL until it actually happens. After car cools down... code disappears and returns when the car stalls out again. I think that code was an 0404 I forget.... scary little thing.

Exactly, no CEL light... And when I tried to read the ECU, it gives me "Error". Well, it got to a point where the engine wouldn't even start. It'd crank and that's it. After changing random parts, I thought it was my ECU. I almost swapped the ECU!!! Until I tried reading the code 1 more time, and there was a "1st trip" code. W/o this, I was stumped. So even if there's no CEL, read the codes anyways.
