Hello,
I just checked underneath the engine (by Manual Transaxle Area) of my 96'5speed GXE and discovered that its coated with dried oil leaks? whats a good cleaning substance to clean the M-Tranny areas? I wanted to observe where leaks are coming from after i clean it.

Go to any autozone or what not and go to the cleaning supplies. They got some really good metal polishes there for a few bucks. I cannot remember the name but I use the stuff that comes in a little silver container. Good stuff. Should take care of it for you.

I just washed my whole engine and its so clean oyu can eat off of it. Get some engine degreaser, go to the car wash, spray it on, and rinse it off. The stuff worked so good, you can see it melt away at the grease.
