Hi everyone,

Was hoping someone could offer me some advice. I've been having some squeaking sound coming from the front wheel at low speeds, the sound goes away at higher speed. Today, I also noticed that there is some clicking noise coming from the wheel while driving straight. Could this be the wheel bearing? Could it be something else?

could be strut bearings or wheel bearings. or half shafts. does it click when turning?

 

i have the same problem it does it at low speeds and when i go over bumps its more annouced but when i get to higher speeds it only does it over bumps?

No clicking when turning. Just when driving straight. I didn't notice notice noise over bumps i'll pay closer attention (what was it?). Will check pads as well, the noise doesn't get louder when I press on the breaks.

 

Took the wheel off, it looks like the rubber CV boots are squeaking. The rubber CV boots have been replaced recently (they were going bad). Is that typical w/ new CV boots?

 

pads sounds about right for me as i am in dyer need of pads
