DIY: Cheap Lip Kit?
Okay So Thanks To roggeezy for bringing this into the picture:
This is a cheap alternative to a lip kit that could provide protection for your front bumper...and hey...it doesnt look that bad at all.
What You Need:
1. Garage Deal Bottom Seal From Home Depot
2. 3m double sided tape
3. Scissors or a Razor
4. Your Car
Its Pretty Self Explanatory.... Cut The Seal To The Length You Would Like Stick on some 3m Tape And Put It On Your Bumper
on roggeezy's car:
Just thought id make a write up in case other people would like to try this out.... i may give it a shot when i get my car back from the shop... let me know what you think about it.

I guess I don't see the problem with it. Looks good to me. Rubber sturdier than foam. 3M pretty sticky but I have a tough time thinking it's gonna stay on there. You had it the snow? How long have you had it on the car?

I was bored one day, and I decided to try it out since I dont have the money to shell out on a lip kit. To me it didnt turn out too bad, it looked alot better than just having the sharp cut-off of the stock 4th gen front bumper. I'll admit, it doesnt really serve my car (or rather ex-car) any purpose, but to some lowered cars or cars with low ground clearance because of their kits, then it would protect the their bumpers/kits around the edges. The material is very durable, and the 3m double sided automotive adhesive holds like no other. I know this is a public forum and everyone is entitled to your own opinions, but yall dont have to be such sarcastic a55holes about it.

from 2004 :meanwhile i'm working on my 97+ convertion i wanna add a lip to make it stand out more. originally i was gonna go with stillen lip and just get it painted... but ionic CF lip looks nice too, plus i don't need to paint it, and CF lip will match with my car body color really well. (IMO). then lately ludacris has his "luda lip" (aka home depot lip)... it's cheap but IMO it looks pretty good...
so which lip should i purchase?
