Maxima value??

I hate these kind of threads, but here we go:

I have a 97 SE MT, white w/ black leather, 123K miles, clean body . Here are the details:
- New Exedy Stage I clutch, T.O. bearing, pressure plate, turned flywheel
- New Brembo blanks and Axis metal-master pads, stainless steel lines
- Budget SS Y-pipe, Greddy SP2 cat-back
- Tokico Illuminas with H&R springs (installed at 105K)
- 17" G35 coupe 6-spoke wheels with 235/45 Toyo Proxies (> 5k miles)
- Alpine head unit with Ipod adapter, Infinity speaks around (no sub)
- FTSB, CAI, red clear tails, clear corners, shaved MAXIMA emblem

I live in Washington State, basically a suburb of Portland OR. Guess I am looking for a starting price (not willing to remove any mods). Runs great, it's just that I have an option on an Audi S4 MT that I don't think I can pass up.

Thanks in advance for the feedback!

Check AutoTrader.com for comparable asking prices in your area.

Don't expect to recoop much of the costs of your upgrades... you might be able to ad $500 to $1000 to your determined asking price but the more acceptant you are that you'll likely have to eat those, the happier you'll be.

With the mods I'd say $4500 maybe $5000.

depends on who buys it.
alot of people consider a mod a negative and want the price lower to compensate for it.
mods = racing / reckless driving in many a consumers mind.
I use Edmunds to calculate values and it's fairly accurate in my experience.

around here that would go for $3500, no more than 4 grand unfortunatly. for some reason maxis have a high BBK value but they a;ways go for cheap. probably because of "high" mileage the value drops alot, but we all know its not really high and just capitalize on the "cheap car with high mileage"
....done ranting.

It's because of rising gas prices and the demand for smaller cars. Maximas use premium gas and get in the ball park of 20mpg city depending on the condition of the car. Therefore, for buyers that are looking to save gas the Maxima will not look appealing. The Geo Metro used to not be worth but like 400 dollars in many cases, but now people are paying nearly 2k for those little cars.

If I get the Audi S4, I'll sure be missing the 350 miles per tank I am getting with the max. I didn't expect to re-coup the value of the mods when I did them, it was more for me Will likely start at $4.5K with an understanding that I may have to drop to move it. It's been a great car!

You talkin about the NA V8 S4 or the 2.7T?
S4's are sex. I have an 01 (chipped), and an 00 A4 (1.8t chipped + lots of other mods.) Maxima is technically my wife's.
But, if I had to chose between the S4/A4, I'd pick the A4. You can mod it to S4 power easily, and they are way more easy to work on. The main bonus is the insurance. Insurance is disgusting with the 2.7 twin turbo. The 1.8T is a lot less expensive. You can also supercharge the 2.8 A4 and get around 270whp and **** tons of tq. Anyway, I copld go on and on about this and it's not on topic. If you ever have questions about Audi's, PM me. I'm an Audi *****

FWIW
I'd pay no more than 3k for a 100k+ mile 4th gen maxima regardless of mods.
