Couple wiring questions...

I would put this in the audio section, but I know most of you guys in here know your way around a 4th. I was wondering where the easiest place to tap into the speed sensor wire and back-up light wire, for my pioneer navi H/U?

These two wires are for dead reckoning function of the GPS. It should work without hooking them up. Unless you live in an area full of tall buildings such as downtown or go thru tunnel daily, you won't need it.

Well it does function w/o them, but the arrow doesn't point in the direction my car is going (doesn't follow behind my car, just points where my car is located)...that's why I'm mainly concerned about the reverse wire

Tie that wire to GND should fix it forward. The reverse line goes 12V when in reverse.
In the car, Reverse line is available on the shifter inhibitor switch, pin 5 on the large connector or pin 20 on the A/T Control Unit.

The speed output is pin 14 on the Combination Meter, pin 27 on the A/T Control Unit or pin 29 on the ECM.

Where's the A/T Control Unit? Is there a diagram on the site that I can use for a reference on the pin layout?

FWIW, Ptatohed and I pulled our gauge clusters and tapped the appropriate wire for the speed sensor wire. I can look it up in my notes if need be.

As for the reverse, we ran the wire back to the trunk and tapped it at the brake light. This wasn't a big deal since we mounted the NAV unit in the trunk anyway.
