Where does it say we have 194HP?

20 extra HP isn't going to hurt the car. It just depends on how you drive it.

for 20 hp you'll be fine. auto will always have more stress tho because the 5spd you can just put a better clutch. but again 20hp shouldnt hurt you at all, specially if you just rebuilt the tranny

having stock horsepower can mess up your transmission if u try enough. as far as tranny mods go, you can get a transmission cooler for under $50 and put it on. (assuming you have an auto)

like putting you auto in neutral revving to 6000 rpms and shifting to drive? lol ah those were the days in 11th grade trying to show off for the gurls... that was in my 89 Euro 535. did it like 4 times and blew the tranny. still got pics of the internals as memory. if im not too lazy ill scan them on here. lol

if your worried bout yur tranny messing up toss a trans cooler and shift kit in the tranny and u wont have any problems unless u plan on putting a cam, supercharger, or turbo in.

HP does nothing to the tranny, its torque that stresses the tranny.

if you get a revlimiter increase or a mevi/00vi, both will increases your HP, however they will make no difference on your tranny. however getting a ****ty turbo that can't actually increase your power at redline however has nice boost at 3000rpm will take your tranny out as you will be making way more than expected torque at 3000rpm.

All of the normal bolts wouldnt be enough to take out your tranny if its already in good condition.

we actally got 275 hp and 255 lbs of torque........

wait thats not right, lol....its actually 190hp and 205 lbs of torque wich is plenty.

right now i got my car in perfect runnig condition, and GOD...its too much for me. lol...sorry for sounding like a noob, but GOD it spins first gear stupidly. reminds me of a 300hp SRT4 i got a ride in...1st grear? wat gear? there is none....but then he got it up to 450hp and blew his tranny pretty beautifully lol....

so my point is, we got 190 hp and 205 lbs of torque. lol

and as a little bonus, i did something awsome with my shifter....i got a honda prelude shifter for "free" lol. it looks awsome. and feels great in your hands...now for a short shifter.
comparison to my "stock" one

Thats the same shift **** thats in my 94 accord I really like it. The threads the same? The 4th gen maxima shift **** is not one of my favorites. When I get a 4th gen I may swap the shift ***** before I sell the Accord lol.

Thge HP your quoting is at the crank, not too the wheels. If your spinning your tires so bad upgrade your tires. What are you running anyway?

I think he's saying that the stock Maxima already has enough power that he's doesn't usually push it full throttle, which is certainly true.

The Maxima is ok on the power scale, but nothing insane. If you all think so you need to drive some real sports cars.
Still, comparing a NA stock Maxima to a boosted neon just because he spins his tires in first is retarded.Upgrading the tires would help eliminate the wheel spin. Im assuming he is on stockers?

He now. I spin first, second, and part of third and i got new tires lol. Yea a stock max is not no power house so if you are spinning you dot need tires, you need a driver mod.
