5 spd tranny problem need help!!!!

here's the problem i was driving my car today and noticed at the light when i try to put my care 1st gear in does not want go in to 1st i have to put into second gear and then it will go into 1st.then i noticed it would be fine at other lights. i checked the reserve in the firewall and was empty. so i added fluid. oh yeah i had my tranny rebuilt in jan of this year. so what do u guys think. i was thinking gear box??? please suggestions on this problem peace out

if your rez was empty, I'd say slave or master cylinder .... you need to find out where it is leaking and get it stopped.

oh yeah my clutch pedal is not getting stuck

yes, but if you have air in your system you are not creating enough pressure to make your clutch working properly.

the word is reservoir, not reserve. If that was empty, you have a leak somewhere and need to get it repaired. that leak has absolutely nothing to do with your trans, it's a clutch master or slave cylinder issue.

"the reserve in the firewall" is not for the transmission gear oil. It's for your clutch cylinder, and since we know it's been empty you should get a friend to help you bleed it completely.

Does your clutch pedal feel lighter than before?

yeah the pedal does feel different but today i had the system bled and ajusted the pedal and still doing the same thing
