Both my sun visors are loose, when they are taken off the clip they swing everywhere , especially when I make turns. I took it apart, but all I saw was a spring, does that need to be replaced or is there a way to tighten it? Has anyone else dealt with this problem? I did a search and couldnt find anything....

 

Is your spring loose? There's no way to replace it but you may be able to put a shim at the bottom to tighten it up. Do you have anything hanging from your visors? CD holder etc?

 

no, nothing. Shim? Like what, a piece of metal to kinda compress the spring? Would I have to replace the whole sun visor to fix this problem?

 

Yeah a piece of metal to compress the spring a little. The only thing i can think of is that the metal on the visor has worn a little so the spring is not as compressed as it use to be.
