Warpspeed Lately?

Contacted Dallas last Friday to order Y and Cat....said it would ship on Mon/Tues of this week. Haven't heard a peep via email or phone....hasn't replied to email or calls either. Anyone else ordered from warpspeed lately?

Thanks

I purchased from him back about 6 months ago. They are good people, stay really busy. I think they sent me an email after I received it showing the tracking info.

I just called them like 2 seconds ago, and they said UPS just picked them up like a few minutes ago.
Both of ours....

i have a question, if i order a catback from warpspeed, how would i have to get it installed? (by the cat part) will i have to get it welded? because i know they use clamps for most of their connections instead of bolts. (am i correct)?

Last time i called they told me they only had pacesetter catback so make sure you ask.

I you buy a catback made for your car all you have to do is bolt it on... The only problem may be getting off old-rusted bolts but you can have a shop replace them before you get started. My exhaust has bolts

Welding is not required. Everything bolts up.

Cattmans def expensive but i hear its the way to go for FI.

I asked because most people say you start to lose power with anything larger the 2.5" (too much volume) but thats what i hear i don't really know for sure.

That used to be the general consensus yet no one actually dyno proved it till last year when Merlyn put a 3" exhaust on a vq35 and saw gains of like 10+ WHP and even more torque.....

So I wanted to see if just the catback would make any difference on the 3.0....

unfortunatley yes, i made the mistake of letting him talk me into a pacesetter. DO NOT buy a pacesetter, my mid-pipe did'nt have enough clearance over the rear axle and it clunks every time you hit a bump or small hole, pos sounding crap!!! get a greddy or cattman, more $$$$ but well worth it!!!

Too bad I traded my 3" exhaust for a Greddy SP setup, or you'd might have a 3" catback from me. All mandrel bends, with a dynomax super turbo muffler. Unfortunately it was too loud, clearances sucked over the axle, ground clear sucked. I found it wasn't worth the extra power in terms of streetability, and I'm FI.

Got the Y and cat today.....it looks amazing! Dallas also fabricated a custom hanger as my pre-cat hanger was rusted out. Great work! Can't wait to install it.

Thanks to all those who replied.
