do our factory anti-theft sound when lock/unlock?

i am just wondering if my anti-theft is supposed to honk when locked and unlocked? i know alot of cars do, but i was reading my owners manual and i didnt find anything. to get it out the way yes my horn works, it sounds if you press panic, and its fully functional(locks and unlocks, rolls the front windows)

ok and question two(this i didnt search for so feel free to flame if theres an answer here) What is necessary to make the back windows roll down like the front ones with the remote?

edit: i have a 95 SE

I owned a 97 SE and to the best of my knowledge the horn does not sound when you lock the doors. Also, there is no option to roll the back windows down, but with the right guy and enough money you can have a remote that will do almost anything.

The horn does not honk...the hazards flash twice instead.

There is no way to get the rear windows to roll down using the OEM key fob.

I am guessing you might be able to do that by hooking them up in parallel to the front ones. Again, just guessing.....

yea i dont see why that wouldnt work... just a wire fron the front "signal wire to the back motors right? but would that overload the relay/fuse?

Just got to find the right wire I guess? Otherwise you might control the rear's when you don't want to. Perhaps there's a wire that sends a signal when you hold the remote to roll down the front two? I don't know? Just got to dig around with the electrical?

I wired a buzzer thing that beeps twice when I lock my car. It makes the car sounds a little more luxurious to me.

i thought if the engine is started without a key in the ignition(hotwired) or the trunk is opened without a key it will honk, no? so much for anti theft.

if the alarm is set off it honks. hes asking about when you arm it, which has been answered.

Windows

If you want your windows to go up and down by remote, my best suggestion would be go to pepboys and pick up this box - it's only 20$ and has 4 buttons on the remote with four different switches. You can program how the switches work too. For power windows to work with it, you'll just need to get a 2 relays(one for the up button and one for the down button) for all the windows at once or 2 at a time, or you can get 4 relays one to control the front up and down and one for the rear up and down.
