AC not cold after new radiator install

I replaced my cracked radiator in my 96 this weekend and my AC still isn't blowing cold. It has good pressure in the line when I check it with the gauge. My compressor turns on and my RPM's go up. One of my fans turn when the AC is on tho. Could that possibly be a factor. If anyone has any other suggestions let me know.

Unless you have a way to check the high pressure side, you probably should take it to an A/C shop. Jusy fyi, the radiator doesn't not affect the A/C system, and one of the fans is supposed to turn on with the A/C compressor, and the idle RPMs are supposed to go up as well.

When you say good pressure in the line, which one are you referring to, and just how much pressure?

You should be comparing the readings from the high & low side. Just to verify pressure in one without comparison does not tell the entire story.

Are you refering to the engine cooling system radiator or the A/C system's condensor?
If you have replaced the a/c system condensor then you must have the system evacuated and charged correctly.

I think both fans are supposed to turn on with the A/C. If that is the case, then that could be the problem. Rule of thumb, always check the last thing you did. If you messed with those fan connections, then double check them.
FYI, I own and operate a HVAC business, but I do not regularly work on cars(A/C).
You may have also caused a leak from working around the pipes, and like the others said, we need to know pressures from both high and low side to properly diagnose it.

both fans are supposed to come on as soon as you activate the A/C. Open the relay box near your battery and check the rad fan relays. My "rad fan 1" relay was burnt a while back, and the car would overheat while running the A/C. After I changed it, both fans would come on as soon as the A/C was turned on, and the overheating problem stopped.
