darn airbag lamp flashing again

It stayed off for about 6 weeks. Lucky the car passed inspection 3 weeks ago. Here we go again for about the 50th time!

I've got the Accord LX-P 5-spd on the back of my mind, would be nice to get a 4 cyl. with manual......just a thought. Will keep the Maxima until it doesn't drive anymore...

if the light keeps coming back on after reseting it means that the air bag module is bad and needs to be replaced. i've read though that it's a very common issue and the new modules last only as long as the replaced ones - plus they're damn costly. easy fix? i just pulled the bulb out from the cluster and it doesn't bother me anymore

I went through my ritual and it's off again......unplugged and plugged both harnesses under the seats, moved the driver all the way up, all the way back, and I kid you not, reset the computer (all in a row) 5X. I think that's diag, flashing, diag, flashing, diag. Then, the next day when I started the vehicle, it did its check and the lamp went out.

If that's a bulb that can come out, I probably will remove it next year before inspection!
