painted sawblades

like it says I painted my saw-blades because they were almost destroyed from the previous owner. Painted them graphite because Ive painted to manny rims black and wanted a change. I just wanted to show someone so I tried to put the pic below Im not quite sure how to do it since Ive never done it before. so if the pic works feel free to tell me it looks like crap.

ps. I need a trunk lid if someone in NY has one and wants to deal email me Ill take a 97-99 trunk but than Ill want a deal on the tails. thanks

The wheels look great that color and go well with your car. I like the dark look (see sig). The yellow calipers do stand out, but maybe you want that. But darker would look great!

considering getting cf hood and trunk and Id like to swap a leather interior in there. Im also thinking of sanding the face of the rims down with a random sander with like 60 grit (it makes the aluminum look like marbled or something but really cool) and leaving the paint in the cut outs.

Not too shabby at all. Came at pretty good.

Remember that the sun should be at your back at all times when taking pics.

For the calipers, my vote goes for Bronze, maybe even gold like Blackonblack98 said. This will make for a good contrast with your rims and black paint IMO.

Red would stick out a little for having stock calipers, but it would look nice. Stick with black or silver for the stock calipers. I feel it accents them nicely without being too flashy.

Looks better black. I had mine blue, then red and now it kinda stands out for me(maybe I just gotta adjust). I like the idea of bronze or gunmetal, like suggested above. Either way make sure the paint you use can withstand the heat.

I saw like a dark bronze wheel coating I almost wish I had tried instead just because Ive never seen it before. I came across it at autozone after I started painting. and if you put gloss black on wheels with a real thick clear coat it would look tight on a white car (used to have an accord white that I painted the stock steelies high gloss black and I got compliments all the time). The graphite thing is almost like an org. classic I feel and thats why I tried it. and also like I said before if you hit the face of the wheels and the lip with a random orbital sander with 60grit it will take the wheels down to bare aluminum fast and easy and in my opinion it would look wicked if someone just clear coated them with the face sanded like that cause it looks like marble aluminum but really shiny and nice. I almost did that but the cutouts on my rims were totally pitted and screwed up and its really hard to sand nice in there so I needed to paint atleast the cutouts and its way easier to just paint the whole rim but I still may sand the face and clear it in the future.
