Am I crazy (trade I30 for 4th gen)
Infiniti dealer: drop car off for service/checkup, get a G35 loaner for the day
Nissan dealer: drop car off for service/checkup, fine closes bus stop or wait for shuttle van
4th gen Max is nice but not nice enough to trade the I35 for... Why would you go backwards?
Max owners who have never been to an Infiniti dealership will never fully understand the difference.

I couldn't care less how the dealer treats me. After the sale, I hope to never see them again to be honest. Sure it's nice to have them kiss your *** when you have to go in for service, but going in for service is still a major inconvenience no matter how you slice and dice it.
Overall, 4th gens are very reliable. If someone seriously weights how they're going to be treated after the sale, then they are buying the wrong car. Post-sale customer service is just a bonus IMO.
Sure, it's technically going backwards a little, but overall they're virtually identical cars. All that's substantially different is the outside styling. And besides, at the end of the day, all the luxury features and add ons that make the I30 special can be added to the 4th gen no problem. The real benefit of owning a 4th gen vs an I30 is aftermarket support IMO.

You are stating an opinion and I'm stating facts that I've found online. Maximas in general are good cars no doubt but I've seen enough people are here over the years complain about their cars. Most of them have complained about the same stuff given the generation of the car. I've never seen someone with a 97 complain about coil packs, or losing they're headlights due to a design flaw.

Fastest stock A32 is Nealoc with a 14.2, isn't it? I found his 14.5 thread, but I swore he ran a 14.2...
I imagine he meant fastest stock 4AT A32.
