The UPS guy just delivered my B&G Springs! I really think these would look better on my car though. I am intimidated at the Install, and REALLY don't wanna pay outta my *** to some mechanic. Can someone provide me w/detailed instructions ? I also have a strut bar, and I am afraid I will tighten it back on too hard and strip the bolts. How do I prevent that.

Springs are easy, but you do need a few proper tools to do it. First, go to Barnes & Noble or someplace and get a manual. It will give you some insight on what to do and proper torque specs so you don't strip the threads. You will also need a Macpherson Stut spring compressor and a torque wrench. And of course assorted sizes of sockets. Expect 3-4 hours going easy (don't rush if it's your first) and one of the most important things is to take off the plastic sleeves that are glued to your OEM springs and glue them on your new springs otherwise you will be guaranteed squeaks. Again, not difficult, just go slow, one side at a time.

Whats the name of that manual ? When you did yours, did you do it with the info you just gave me ?

It was a Haynes manual from Barnes & Noble. I really only used it for the torque specs, but if you aren't familar with the underpinnings,it has good pics. On the front struts, there are only 5 bolts holding the strut in, then one nut in the center of the strut holding the spring to the strut. The rear only has 3 bolts and one in the center.

I believe the correct torque specs if I remember correctly are:
--front--

3 fstb bolts- 35
center nut- 50
2 large bolts connect to hub- 110

--rear--

2 bolts on top- 15
bolt on bottom- 85
center nut- 15

Thanks bro for the link. I have a question. Could I use my B&G Springs with the Stock SE bushings, dust covers, boots, ect. ? I only have 56k miles on them.

Yes, assuming you don't see anything damaged, you should use these items. You may, however, want to replace the front strut bearings (as a preventative measure). Check out Lime's excellent thread regarding suspension noise at the top of this page and you will see the references to the strut bearing issue.
