Just move the mount for the A/C line over a bit and it will clear the FSTB.

I have a FSTB and it touches the AC pipe but I didn't do anything about it. I dont think it rubs that much so I just keep an eye on it and if it starts looking bad I will do something.

I slid the balck foam cover over an inch.

So now it is between the FSTB and the pipe. I don't use the AC anyway, so it never really concerned me.

insulation

I have the same problem with my Courtesy fstb. I solved it by putting some pipe insulation around the ac pipe at that point. It provides a foam buffer, so the two don't rub at all. I attached a picture of my engine compartment, you can see the insulation on the left hand side. I hope this helps.

i did almost the same thing. i put a old golf club grip around the a/c pipe, should be ok for now. i also put the same grip near the accelerator cables because the bar was touching it. the bar gets really hot and may melt the accelerator cabling.

As far as I can tell, no. Looking at the liner, I don't see any indentations or signs of wear. I cannot be absolutely sure since I cant see under the hood with it down . How do you know that yours is rubbing?

A/C and hood liner

I put on a Courtesy strut bar yesterday, a day after reading everyones
comments about it rubbing against the a/c pipe and hood liner. After driving it hard this afternoon I do notice that the bar has left a mark on the a/c tube. The pipe insulation idea is worth a try.

I drew a line across the bar using lipstick (easy to get and cleanup, and dosen't dry)and checked the hood liner after driving for a while. There were two marks on the liner from the lipstick each about an inch long and located near the center and center passenger side. At this time I don't think that the bar hitting the liner is a problem.

The improvement in steering? Huge !!
