95 max auto CALI emmision! 145k. This code is kicking my *** 10-08 evap purge controlvalve circut. First off Hanes is no help, has limited info on part besides wiring diagram. Can't find a used engine with valve and valve does not exist on nissan oem connection. I' checked all hoses for leaks and everything checked out fine. Has anyone ever had this code on a cali emission or changed this part, trying to leave stealership out of this one. The stickies say this valve has a two wire connector but mine seems to have a six wire connection , any imput would help thanks.

 

Can't say for sure from the code but you probably need to check the valve by the canister located under the trunk on the drivers side, that is a two wire valve. I don't believe this is located in the engine compartment if that is where you are looking. Should be plenty of write ups on this.

The code is for the EVAP CPCV, and it has a 6-wire connector.
