Hey Max Gurus,
I was in a mild fender bender last month, and since then my AC hasn't kicked on. When I hit the AC button, I don't hear anything different. That is I don't hear anything engage, the blower motor still runs just as fast, no lights dim.

I should add that everything on the car works as normal - can anyone recommend a place to start troubleshooting? I've checked a few fuses but they all looked fine so far.

Is it possible that some wire someplace got jostled loose? Aside from the shattered clear lens up front nothing was left at the scene of the accident.

I hope there's some reset switch or something I can find

Did the condensor or pipes get damaged at all?

You say the compressor doesn't kick on at all, have you checked the wiring to the clutch?

 

if he had damage to the condensor, the freon (or whatever) would be gone and the condensor would never kick on anyway.

I suppose the accident could have accelerated a leak or something.

JiggaMyZigga have you checked the system pressure? If you hit that small bleed inlet with a screwdriver or something (be gentle..and keep you hands clear)...if nothing comes out your freon is gone
