Car Acting Up
I'm feeling a slight vibration at idle and the car is feeling a little sluggish on accelaration. Also, when on WOT, the check engine light flashes on and off.
The CEL has been on for O2 Sensors for a couple of years and has never flashed.
What led up to this was that I was running out of gas and waited a little longer then usual to put gas in. I filled her up and put in 17.034 gallons. The first time ever I got into the 17s.
Did I screw up my fuel injectors? Should I put some fuel injector cleaner in there. Any suggestions?
BTW, its a 99SE with 131,500 miles and she was running perfect up to this morning.

Hey Luke,
Didn't get a chance to, I have the reader at home. I'll run it when I get home.
BTW, wifey finally replaced her wrecked 06 WRX, we picked up a 97 I30 with 94k miles for $3300.

Looks like you are right. I went to an auto parts place during lunch and they read the code. Its coming back as Cylinder 4 misfire.
I just changed all six coil packs in the last year, this is ridiculous.

if im correct the cylinders are as follow
(firewall)
1 3 5
2 4 6
(front)
I found this while searching http://forums.maxima.org/4th-generat...1-misfire.html
see post #6. he has a good idea about switching coil packs from another cylinder and see if you get the same or not.

When the coil pack on cylinder 4 was changed, the connector was britle and broke while being removed. I put it back together as best I can and the car ran fine. its too much of a concidence that now that same cylinder is misfiring. I went to Nissan to see about buying the connector and they said that its not sold seperately and I would have to buy the whole wiring harness.
