Has anyone ever stripped their cluch pedal freeplay adjust nut?

I kinda stripped in in one corner of the nut and well, With the room we have there is no way I can get the other side of the nut. Now I know my clutch is going but it is just pissing me off that my car engages fully at 80%... I have to practically put it up too 2k for it to grab without shake. I need to adjust it again but I can't. =[

Any ideas other then a Vice grip? cause I tried that and the only vice grips I can get in there are my needle nose ones and those pop off right away because the needle nose is bending right off.

I am not sure but um, I think you need to take that nut off to remove the whole master cylinder...
