Moving on

I received a wealth of information from this site and would like to thank those that helped, especially nopike and fanaticrockford. I decided the other day while stuck in a traffic jam (with a cramped left leg) that i am tired of driving stick (98 SE). I looked at a 99 528I tonight (a little too big) and looking at a 98 328I tomorrow. The dealer tonight told me he would give me 500 bucks for my max but upped it to 1000 after seeing it (its clean). I told him I would burn it before I let it go for that so who knows it's fate at this point. This thread has no real relevance... but this site and the people here have been good to me in my short stay here so I just wanted to show some respect. Wonderful well run website guys, I hope I can find a BMW equivalent.

Bought an 01 325I tonight, dealer gave me 2500 for my SE. I'm sure I could have got more by sitting on it and waiting for a buyer but I'm not a very patient person.

Miles have never really bothered me on non american autos (I hate to say that but it's true). I bought my SE with 141000 and have put 15000 on it in 6 months. To me it's all in how you take care of it. It was a one owner car that has had to go through E-check (carfax) so I will do a good once over and maintain it my way from here on out.

I drive an 01 530i and its the best car ive ever driven, just make sure you get a stick thats the only thing i regret. Also they are expensive to maintain although ive done almost everything myself. Im actually getting rid of the BMW and coming back to a maxima. Hopefully picking her up this weekend.

Uhhhhh, already bought the car, not a stick (posted in the OP that I'm tired of stick), although it has the option of running in manual mode.
