Rotor size for J30 caliper

Can a rotor 0.98"/25mm thick work with J30 caliper? As a reference, J30 and cobra rotors are 1.1"/28mm thick.

Yes you'd be fine with that in my opinion. The FSM states a minimum thickness of 26mm, but I personally wouldn't have any qualms about putting a 25mm rotor in there. What rotor are you thinking of using out of curiousity?

What is the diameter of the rotor?
minimum thickness is partially based on the thickness of the solid sections of the rotor. A thinner rotor will work as long as the solid section thickness is adequate.
