My '95 only has 60k, but i just want to see who has the most miles and whether the engine and transmission are still in good shape or been rebuilt.

99 se just triped 49000 last night. I can't wait to get my beater truck back on the road so I don't have to drive the max every day.

 

what on this board HASN'T come up for the bazillionth time? i.e., stillen, k&n, i gotta new max, maintenance - what do i do, i killed a VW bug, i killed a lexus, etc.

heheh yup that's about right. ~84-100 miles a day for me...depends on whether I go out during lunch or not. Plus another 100-200 miles every other weekends.

 

I bought my 95 SE 5 Speed with 96 Miles (Driven from Columbus to a local dealer in Cincinnati)on April 14, 1995. It now has 148,935 miles and going strong...(also knocking on wood)

 

Geez ... and here I was worrying about my 95 almost hitting 90K ... damn ... some of you have really high milage!

We should have a general discussion on who put on the most miles on their maxima all generations. I would like to know from the 1st gen. guys, how reliable our cars are.

 

i'm coming up on 88k in my 97 I30...

 

My 97 has 86K. I got it with 70K in May.

 

121,00 on my 95 $E. Still runnin strong and w/ minor problems along the way. In fact, I've caused the majority of the probs w/ my car.

 

96 SE 163K 5sp....looks not a day over 2 years old.. still goin strong

 

Just hit 56k in my 97 SE. Been going to Vermont just about every weekend the past month at 200 miles there and 200 back.

 

96 SE with ~58k, only thing I have replaced is the clutch and that was a couple months after I got it.

 

95 with 103K miles. Biggest repair to date was my clutch.

I'll be passing 113K on the way to the track tomorrow in my 96 GXE 5 speed. Only 1 tranny rebuild so far. I'm on a roll...

haha yeah right now my sister has the maxima, and she just drives it to college and stays there for a weeek, and comes back on fridays...she probably drives around there too...but who cares, all i know is that im gonna get low miles when i get the max

 

my dad has 380,000 on his 82 diesel , never had a major problem or even a medium one yet .same engine ,same tranny, we call it "the old guy".

 

Bought my '99SE auto in June 2000 with 40K, have about 90K now. Lost one ignition coil along the way.

Anyways,
My 98 GXE auto has 60,540 miles. Crap, I need to order some spark plugs and flush my tranny soon, have the fuel filter and everything else ready in my room.


I am planning on making it go 150k easy on the original auto tranny.

 

There are plenty of 3rd gen guys with 200k miles and more still going strong. Most automagics have been replaced by 120k miles on 3rd gens though Well, i won't say most, but quite a few have.. my 3rd gen had 106k miles with all sorts of problems, tranny died at 86k miles. This car feels great, no problems in the 3 months i had it. But this VQ engine is by far the BEST of all generations that came before it. So if a 3rd gen goes 200k miles easily, a 4th gen can hit 300k and more if maintained well... The VQ is a beautiful thing. I am not afraid of dumping $ into the car knowing it will last me a long time.

My 99 SE-L I bought with 5 miles on it. When I traded it in 3 months and 1 day later for my 2000 SE it had 7,864 miles on it. My 2k now has 48,000 miles.
