A little over a hundred thousands miles and still running strong. Since i put on the exhaust. (y-pipe back) people wanna race because its sooo loud The best was a dad and his teenage son in a lincon mark 8, he lost but my kids in the back were screaming like they were on a roller coaster. (Hey I was not really going that fast........yet!)

 

i have a 99, bought it brand new and i only have 22k and some change

 

Just under 68K in a '99 SE 5sp.
Considering that it's 1 of 4 cars, I'd say that's a lot of miles.

What can I say, I LOVE to drive!!!

I get up in the middle of the night just to go for a drive to unwind as I wind through gears! Anyone else like that??

 

Are Giot and I the only ones with 4th gens over 200K? I currently have 208K on a 97SE auto.

 

Did anything go bad on the car? Man that's a lot of miles for a 97.

 

I have a 95 SE Stick my has 157,000 miles no problems only starter and battery recently but other than that its running great and smokin anything that comes up next to me

 

I had the trans rebuilt at 205K and went ahead and had the CV joints replaced as a preemptive stike. Other than that I have had some very recent problems with my Bose head unit. After the helpful advice and links from members here I am going to replace the head unit. I have run Mobile 1 in the engine and transmission since new.

 

Caz41, 208,000 on a 97 what the heck, thats over 50,000 a year! On my 97SE I have 52,000, 02SE 2,400.

 

What can I say....I drive a hell of lot! Seriously, my maxima is my work mule. It's been a good car.

 

I have a 96 SE Maxima with 177,000 miles on it and I haven't drivien it for 4 months due to a timing chain problem. I drive it hard and fast over 130 mph at least 50 times. I drove it on Salt Flats at Black Rock Nevada while working on SCC Thrust that broke Mach 1 in 1997
