CEL question

I replaced the headers and the Y pipe on my cali spec 99 SE; the 2 O2 sensors that were AFTER the precats were removed and I replaced them with an O2 sensor simulator; the instructions said the ECU should reset after disconnecting the battery for half an hour; I did that but the light is still on.

I KNOW THAT IF I GO TO AUTOZONE, I CAN GET IT RESET

but I don't have the time in the near future (believe it or not, I just don't have time).
Is there any other way to reset the ECU?

Thanks in advance!

Also, read your OWNER'S Manual.......again. The method is in there as well.

FWIW, the battery must be disconnected for at least 12+ hours for that method to work...

disconnect your battery for half a day.. that's how you manually reset you ECU without having to pay for it at a shop

You have an SES light, not a CEL in your '99.
