thats not true at all. plenty of cars look good on 22s... the max, in general, just isn't one of them. i say "in general" because i have seen a couple that looked decent over the years.

If you got the right setup you wouldn't have had to raise it in the first place and second well it just looks bad. I know someone doing 22's i believe and he is lower than me.

There is a reason I said car.....I have yet to see a car with anything over 19s that looks good......

But on an SUV or truck bigger wheels can look good.

One of the reasons I enjoy the Maxima is because people tend to NOT do things like that to their cars.

Fender badging letting everyone know exactly the diameter of the wheels is a classy touch, though.

And I could post that white 6th gen max with the white lipped black faced 22s.

But I guess all of those are 'fawking gay' or whatever.

I mean, hell, I wouldn't be caught dead driving one of those... lol!

OP, had you got the right offset/width... you could have lowered it just fine. I test fit 22x8.5" +38 offset, and they had only minor rubbing on my maxima, and i'm pretty low on coilovers. A spring/strut combo would have been fine.

And some of us had 19's on our car before you were even on this site and decided to save on the wear and tear by going with function over form, but nice try.

And my date of joining has WHAT to do with your close-minded taste in vehicles/modifications? Does this go back to 'post count = intelligence or general knowledge'? If so, then I'm just shafted. Damn this not driving the same car all the time lifestyle I wandered into!

And what was the nice try for?

Ignorance is bliss, I hear.

I wouldn't call it "close-minded", just me actually having taste. I didn't say anything about your post count, so don't get your pampers in a bunch. If you want to waste money on replacing your suspension parts over and over again because you want your car to "look" a certain way, have at it. You think those cars look good, I don't...why does my opinion make me close-minded? Again, nice try.

Nope.....wouldnt drive any of those....

To me big rims on cars is dumb....kills ride quality, makes it look gaudy, most cost more than the whole car times 2......

next time pick some vehicles that actually look good with 22s.

Those cars are all fully adjustable. Meaning when they park, it's laid out, but driving is very similar to normal, to avoid excessive camber wear.

So, you can throw the idea of replacing suspension parts away, considering most of those use little to no existing suspension parts. That towncar even has an IRS in the rear swapped in.

And, just to make it interesting, my air suspension rides better at MOST heights then the car did stock. So, not only does it look interesting... I have the ride of a caddy at my fingertips.

You could have atleast found a new picture of the FX, since it's a totally different color now.

I WISH I had bought my car for half the cost of the wheels on ANY of those cars posted above.

Where is flava with his flamethrower when u need him, and wizard. do you still have those thread lock pics? i think we need some of those.

22 on a 4th looks good if ur going for a offroading skateboard look, looks like he couldnt affort to get a baller whip so he settled for some baller rims.

i dont hate the hole big wheel movement, just not on a maxima.

also, rocking wheel size badges is like braging about the size of your d#ck, no one cares.
