Camera mount ideas?

i was thinking now i kinda want either a sticky mount or an in car mount. was wondering for those guys that track and auto-cross a lot, what kinda camera mount do you have and do you also have an in car mount?
i would like to see pics, ideas, or links of where you got them.

I mounted my old webcam inside my grill before. Ran the usb wire through the firewall and into the cabin connecting to my tablet pc. From there I can click record and replay anything. The webcam had a clamp to it so I clamped it to one of the inside grill fin part.

Another idea (probably better) would make a bracket that attaches to the passenger head rest. You can probably buy a piece of metal bar and drill 3 holes in it. 2 to allow the passenger headrest to go though and keep it in place, and 1 to mount the camera itself to.

yeh...why?

the metal pipe going from headrest to headrest seems like a good idea. now the only problem i see with that is where to get those mounting adapters for the camera...

You don't have to go from headrest to headrest. I was thinking more towards using just the passenger headrest and have the pipe use both the poles holding that headrest in place. Then have it extend towards the center of the car and that would be where you mount the cam.
