Audi style 4th gen headlights
are you serious? Its $1 worth of leds wired together inside the headlight housing...and then possibly wired to the parking lights. All you do is open the headlights, put some leds in a row wired together, wire it to the parking light, close up the lense...its not hard.
Im not trying to put down the OP cause the workmanship looks great, but for those asking for a write-up...come on...i guess i just gave you one.
Oh ya...for $300 Ill do your lights. Pm me if you are serious cause I am. I have alot of LED experience and Ive opened headlights before.

THat is true, if I did it for $300, it's like stealing candy from a baby.
also stop taking my business
.For those asking for a write up, it's very simple.
Anyone that knows how to do the AE mod for the 4th gen and knows how to do simple parallel circuit should be able to do this mod.
well here are some more picture of how everything is coming along.
The corners are done, but are not wired up to everything. The picture was taken with the wires just going straight to the battery.
Also the difference in between my first prototype for the head lights and prototype numero dos for my head lights.

As you can see the one on the bottom of the picture is the 1st prototype and the one towards the top is my second one. The second one is smaller, but both contact bars are on top making it thinner as well.
The first on was alright, but it was thick because I had positive contact wire on top of the board and one negative contact wire on the bottom.
Also notice the notch I had to cut out on the second prototype, because the 4th gen headlights have a stupid plastic part that sticks out on the outer edges.
Feel free to comment.

Oh man, me and my brother thought of this idea a while back. +1 to the OP for going through with it, I guess I'll just have to go into R&D into my second idea since you got this one pretty much covered lol.
Looks awesome! Subscribing to see your progress!

damn i wish i knew how to work with the circuit boards. i guess its a good time to learn though
ive got a set of those exact leds from hong kong as well that i used for my interior bulb swap to led. are you going to blend the boards in with the lights? because it probably looks weird when they are off in the day time.

heads up for you guys who want to do this, and possibly the op as well; you can buy pre-made flexible, cuttable led strips. they would probably turn out a bit better because of the even spacing and flexibility.

but theres a ton of plces to get them (ebay). i would look around and find whatever could be cut into the smallest sections, to give you amore precise fit.

for you guys that want someone else to do this for them, or any other led work, shoot me a pm and we can discuss it.
almost done.
Yeah I though about it, but I couldn't come up with an answer to that.
By the way was it max0224 that did it, or do you have someone else in mind?
Here are some update pictures.
All I have to do now is to recook the headlights so I can seal them up and put the metal tabs back on.
Then I have to wire up a switch to the inside of my car with a PWM or DC motor speed control.
First picture is just 12v from the battery

with flash same 12v

dimmed out lights

IMO this looks the best.
it just doesnt look right, but hey whatever you like man...
what kind of bike is in the trunk?
lol just made me think of 40-year-old virgin: "i hope your trunk is big enough, cuz im gonna park my bike in it."

I think it's not bad. Probably wouldn't do the same since I have a different idea for my headlights, but these I like. Haven't seen them being done on 4th gen before, so +1 for originality.
I would however do something like this for cidemarkers and corner lamps.

Maybe if I get some distance pictures it might look different. THis is only in my garage so the effects might be different.
The bike in my trunk is a schwinn worldsport, with new bottom bracket to rims to handle bars to brake lining. I'm thinking of going fixie, but I hate pedaling all the time.

What kind of idea do you have for your headlights? I always wonder what people do to their maxima, with their own creativity.
For example, Mr****95Se put LED on his side skirts, so it lights up when he opens or unlocks his doors (?)

I got two sets of Infiniti FX35 headlights, planning to do a double fx projectors in R34 headlights with fx bezels. I've seen it done here before by another member.
