Posessed door locks

All right, situation: I'll unlock the car buy pressing the key fob twice. Put my bags in the back seat, get in drivers seat, close door and the secondary locks (all but the drivers door) will lock. It seemed to do it about 50% of the time back in the spring, quite in the summer, and has started doing it about 90% of the time now. Even happened one time when I hit the brakes while driving. Seems like its getting confused with one lock being stuck in the middle, but they are all fine. This is getting really annoying. Go to get out of the car and the damn back door locks itself on me. Anyone know what causes this?

age mostly and the connections get dirty in drivers door and start randomly doing that. mine does it too, but only once in awhile, there's a sticky for that problem somewhere. dig around and you'll find it. also the battery in the key fob will start doing that if its dying.

I didnt think the fob would do anything with the keys in the ignition and the car running?

Try this, it has worked for a lot of people(but first check your battery in the remote). Theres a silver box in your trunk, on the right side, disconnect the negative to your battery, peel back the lining and unplug the two wires that are plugged in, wait about 5 minutes plug em back in and connect your battery. if this doesnt work you probably need a new BCM(body control module) located above your ECM. Heres a pic to help you out. i tried to resize the pic.

I had the same exact problem. My finger latch up on the door above the release lever (inside) was not coming all the way out due to sticky linkage INSIDE the door. In other words the little latch with the red sticker isn't coming out as far as it should.

Sometimes if I were to touch that little lock latch all 3 would lock.

Opened the door up and lubricated the door lock links around the motor and 3 months later it hasn't happened once. Was happening at least once a day.

g'luck

in my case (see below), the other 3 doors would lock and then pop back open. That was how I KNEW it was not the fob in my case and dove in.
