How to fix brake light

I searched and couldn't find how to replace a broken brake light switch. My brake light stays on and i checked the fluid and its good. Any other ideas?

Which brake light?

Tail lights or the warning light on your dash?
Your post is unclear.

Check the switch for your hand operated parking brake that may not be working properly.

If you have a 97-99 you can probably just pop out the cupholders to get to it. If 95-96 the easiest way is to pull the center console.
