Power steering bypass

Hey guys, when i did my 3.5 swap I had to go without having the power steering pump mounted to the block. Now that i have everything running fine and dandy i'm looking for a way to keep fluid in the system without having the ps pump there. ( so more or less my turning the wheel would be moving the fluid around) I was thinking of just attaching a line from the resevior to the banjo bolt/ hard line, but i'm looking for other ways to make this work.

What other methods have you guys found to keep fluid in the system/rack without having the ps pump there?

any ideas would be helpful.

Why weren't you able to keep the pump?

not sure how that plays into the issue i have at the moment....

The motor didnt have the mount for the ps intact and i didnt have time nor care about welding it on.

to keep other questions at bay.
1) I dont mind not having ps
2) I am not looking to run an electric ps pump
3) i am not looking to swap out into any other form of a ps steering rack

I just want to find a good way of keeping some fluid in the rack if people have them. Lets try and stay focused on that.

On my b13 I looped the lines with a rubber hose. It worked good enough.

The best way to keep the fluid in would be to get a small reservoir which connects to both the in and out on the rack with a Y/T fitting.

All I did was ask a question I didn't criticize you or anything. I had just never heard of anyone not being able to keep it so I asked why you weren't able to out of curiosity. Wow, sorry
