Clutch interlock override?

I want to override the clutch interlock switch so the clutch pedal doesn't need to be fully pressed in order to crank the car. I was planning on snipping the wires from the harness and twisting them together and taping it up.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

first of all I think there is a fuse you can pull out under you hood to do that; secondly, just disconnect the electronics from next to your clutch and stick a paperclip from one prong to another. -- I have this done on my max.

My Lord man!?!?!? What were you thinking! ^___^

actually, a shop did it as a favor while fixing another issue in my car. The clutch was installed crappy by the last person that owned the car(crying shame to install a Kevlar clutch and do a bad job ) making it nearly impossible to start the car. Ghetto yes, but free!

And I'm too broke to get the clutch wired up correctly! ^___^

For my 5 speed swap, I wired the neutral switch on the trans to the stock auto park/neutral setup, so the car only starts in neutral. No worries about my remote starter or having any sort of 'accident'. You could do the same by wiring the clutch switch to the neutral position switch at the ECU.
