On the US SPEC Maxima, is there any other ECU compatible? Will a Nissan QX or Cefiro ECU work with a US Spec nissan, or how about even a Skyline from the early 90s ECU?

 

What would that accomplish exactly??

 

 

Just wanted to know... maybe the timing is set accordingly. People have stated that the Cefiro pulled better than a US Spec that has been modded with a MEVI and a stock ECU. Therefore, maybe the Cefiro ECU is a little more advance? Imported cars are usually downgraded.
