Where is the Drop resistor?
My 95 GLE changes hard from 1st to second. I was just wondering if anyone had pics of where it was located so I can see if it's unplugged. It's really annoying and i'm afraid it's going to damage something. I'm quite sure there wasn't a DR Mod done previously either. Please Help!!

As to the location, it is the only rectangular shaped item on the LH shock tower, mounted on the front of the tower with a single wiring connector going into it. No picture, I drive a 5spd.

No.
Unless you're experiencing extremely harsh shifts on every shift, the drop resistor is most likely fine. After you get some miles on them, the autos tend to give hard shifts from first to second, especially when cold. Change out the fluid if it's due, see if that helps.
