Ever wondered how to make your own LED side mirror turn signal?

Well, i know most of you guys might be intersted in this... since i have not seen a write up on the org about this.. (correct me if i am wrong)

but if anyone or anybody on the org is interested in doing this.. i will be glad to make a write up for you guys.. so what do yall say about this?

maxoween is about to come up... any body max-o-treating?

Now as far as leds are you talkin on the mirror part or the outer? The outer would be kinda hard to make look classy.

i am talking about the mirror part... where you have your LED's inside.

ummmm, you can buy strips of leds off of ebay for like 12.00 and they tape right on to your mirror.....

we aint talking about tapes.... we talking about actually taking the mirrror out and drilling them. and YEAH!!!!

if you have creativity, you can make your own side mirror turn signals.
It shouldn't be hard, but then again I'm kind of tipsy right now so...

your gonna have to get rid of the backing somehow... i tried that... light doesn't show through.. so i still had to drill them.. but the more people interested the merrier

there's a bit for dremel that the guy i saw used. it stripped the paint of the rear and made a small hole in the glass to glue the led's in. i can't remember where i saw it...i'll look some more.

wow... my setup was much easier... well to me it was.. oO

but it costed me a mirror because i didn't do it right the first time.. always remember.. "patience" young padawon.. xD

if u guys look into EL sheets (electro luminescent) that stuff can be cut to shape, im sure that stuff gives you much more freedom of creativety then leds
