I didnt use any adhesion promoter. I really didnt do any prep work at all short of wiping the lenses clean. Next time around I'll do a better job.

And your the only one who knows or cares btw. Where I live we'd call you a ricer. You really modernized the front end with the FF blue bulbs and clear lense...I mistook it for a 5th gen.

I've yet to run into anyone who wasn't into Maxima's who could tell it wasn't stock. It hardly matters though, I'm not the one running around trying to convince everyone that my car is more "modern" than it is. I've got a modern enough motor under the hood to keep me pleased.

I see. Well re-do it then. The civic definitely looks okay...but the Maxima not so much.

I got more money invested in my car than most people paid for the purchase of their 4th gen. .

I'm above $5k now. Don't make such general statements...some people just prefer aesthetic mods over go mods (me). I have enough go...and had enough even before I 00VI'ed and changed the exhaust .

To each his own. As you said, we are entitled to our opinions. Clear is clean in my opinion.

Contradiction is always the best way to end an argument . And how much money you have spent on your car is hardly relevant.

Are you asking what we think of your work or what we think of orange lights? From the pictures, your work looks good. Orange lights? :barf:

It's about as relevant as you saying...

And where do you see contradiction? I don't recall going back on what I said. Clear is clean. I said that in the beginning, I said it with my last post, and I just said it again. I do not like OEM orange. Does it look good on the Civic? It's passable and not ugly. Does it look good on any of the Maxima's posted above? Absolutely not. I said it MIGHT look better with euroclear lights...and that's a big might (if done properly...seeing as it was said that it was done on those lights). I'd still never do it to my car. This is an opinion thread, and that is my opinion. It really depends on the theme of your car. If you're tail lights are cleared and rims aren't bronze...then your front end should be cleared to match. If your tails are OEM orange...and rims are bronze color or something of the sort...then by all means, go orange. Would I do it? Never.

Usually I can't help myself but continue with a rebuttal but the truth is..I'm bored with this topic..and being completely sincere when I say this-I do not care. I have a general interest in the psychology of people and like to understand what would make someone think amber lights look like a "Grandma's vehicle". I didn't mean to cue you into a pissing contest.

everyone has their own personal style and show it with their vehicles mods. some are wild and out of date others are simple and modest, but all in all thats what make enthusiest enthusiest. world/meets would suck if everyone had the same mods/style on all their cars...

I believe the "anything is better than stock" mentality brought us the world of Altezza's.

I like the orange corner and bumper lights on black, white, and dark blue cars. Avoids the cheap-orange-reflector-bicycle look.
