Replacing hood

Hey so I finally got a CF hood...Sucks though because there are some scratches on it and the company I bought it from are jerks . Anyway... I'm gonna get it clear coated soon so do you recommend I just install it anyway and then get it coated? Also, I was just gonna remove this by guess and check, but is there a specific way to doing it? I notice the window washer squirter things are stuck in there too. Any way to get those bad boys out!? Help please

Might as well get it all taken care of, unless you like swapping hood out more than necessary.

4 bolts, 2 nuts, and the windshield washer nozzle equipment is all you need to remove.

Does the CF hood have pre-drilled washer nozzle holes?

Yes it does come pre drilled for the nozzles and why would I wanna drive the hood down to the body shop? I dont even have a truck man. Why can't I just install it first and then get it clear coated haha? Do you know how to pop those nozzles out and yes I did search prior to posting.

Okay, then put the thing on. If you had already chosen that, why ask the question?

Take another look at them, they should just pop out.

11 or 12mm wrench should get to it no problem. You probably won't get a full rotation out of it, though.

Ah I give up man. I keep scratchin the hood tryin to get that top bolt undone for the hood strut... The 11mm seems to small and the 12mm too big... Ughh I'm just gonna put in all the bolts and try another day I guess.

OEM is 12mm for the hood supports. Do your hood supports say "Nissan" on them?

Hmmm... I should probably do a write up on this for future hood replacers haha. Anyway... that 11mm was too small for the hood supports and the 12mm too big... So I used a 7/8 and it fit perfectly! Now I'm stuck with the windshield wiper fluid nozzels and tubing. I got the tubing off of the nozzels, but I can't figure out how to pull the tubing out of the hood and the nozzels are stuck...ugh.

The nozzles have a tab on them, squeeze the tab, they pop right out.
The hoses just sit on the nipples, twist them as you pull and they should pull off.
