sensor problems for 95 max

i replaced my old intake with a short ram intake and there was not a spot for one of me sensors. i didnt reallty think anything of it because it ran fine, but now that it has been getting cold out my car is not starting rite up in the morning. and we made a spot for the intake by drilling holes so it would stay. but it still didnt work that great. so im just looking for suggestions on what i should do.

I assume you bought an intake meant for a 97-99? The IAT sensors differ in mounting type between the years.

The IAT shouldn't really affect cold startup that much. Still on the original ECTS? That can cause temperature-dependant starting issues.

Do you do regular maintenance, or just fix problems when they occur? What led you to believe the IAT is the cause of your cold starting issues?
